Q: What warnings/cautions should be used on the products?
A: For hemp, the standard warnings are' keep away from children', 'consult your physician if pregnant or breastfeeding' and 'avoid eye area / sensitive areas' (especially if menthol and certain Essential Oils are present like peppermint, tea tree, etc.).
Q: Additional statements that could be used on the products?
A: Products we offer are Paraben free, Propylene Glycol free, Phthalate free, Fragrance free, PEG free, SLS/SLES free (only applies to detergent products like shampoo).
Q: Are these products Gluten Free?
A: Yes, all of the products are gluten free.
Q: Are these products Cruelty free/ Not tested on animals?
A: We are a Leaping Bunny certified facility meaning we never conduct testing on animals. All clients who want to use the Leaping Bunny seal must apply first. Please contact us for more information.
Q: Are these products made in the USA?
A: Yes, all of the products are made in a USA manufacturing facility.
Q: Are these products Whole Foods Compliant?
A: Hemp is not on the list of Whole Food Compliant ingredients
Q: Are these products eligible for the Certified Organic Seal?
A: Skin care products are typically not eligible for the Certified Organic Seal (95% or higher).
Q: Why did the minimum order quantity change?
A: With the ever changing and increasing dynamic of manufacturing, we have decided to re-evaluate our private label minimums and as a result, we have decided to increase our minimum order quantity to 500 units, per formula.
Q: Can I choose my own custom packaging?
A: If you choose, you can source your own rather than using our standard White Label packaging. If you choose to source your own packaging, your minimum order requirement is 5,000 units, per formula.
In addition, Chaé Manufacturing requests client to ship approximately 6 samples of desired packaging. Chaé Manufacturing will test Client’s desired packaging to ensure it works with the equipment and formula. Client is advised against ordering any custom packaging until approval from Chaé Manufacturing is received.
Q: Do I have to supply my own labels?
A: Yes, all clients are required to supply their own labels.
All labels must receive compliance approval from Chaé Manufacturing prior to client ordering. We will provide general labeling guidelines at the time of PO receipt, but our guidance does not supersede your legal counsel advise. Please contact us for more details.
Q: Can I make any changes to a product?
A: Any changes will result in a custom formulation, which we are happy to help with! All custom formulations do require a $750 R&D fee, which includes writing the formula, raw ingredients, lab batching, in house stability testing and client samples for approval. All custom formulations require a minimum order quantity of 5,000 units, per formula.
Q: Are shipping charges included with my purchase?
A: All clients are required to pay for all shipping costs. We do request all clients to provide a FedEx or UPS account number for shipping.
Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: Order fulfillment takes approximately 8 weeks from the time all packaging, raw materials and client’s product labels are received.
Raw Materials are ordered upon the receipt of client’s 50% deposit.
We will schedule for production upon receipt of all raw materials, packaging and client’s labels.
